An inspection or survey carried out by drone is extremely effective, faster and safer. This is in addition to the numerous advantages it has over conventional methods of inspection or survey (where a professional needs to travel to the site and access points of interest for visual analysis).

Not only can drones easily access difficult-to-reach or potentially dangerous locations such as industrial chimneys, water reservoirs and the roofs of houses and buildings without exposing a technical inspector to these risks, they also reduce costs.
For example, this prevents the contractor from having to provide scaffolding for access, and it prevents the industry from having to stop operations for a long period until the boilers cool down completely so that the chimney can be inspected — a process which can be incredibly expensive.

In traditional inspections carried out by an inspector alone, an average of 20% of the 'critical points' that should be included in a report go unnoticed.
